We took a mid-week day off yesterday, and my wife and I headed up to Breckenridge for a little R&R. Living in Colorado Springs has some great advantages, and one of them is the ability to go to some really nice places in a pretty short amount of time. Last month the bank owned and distressed properties made up 34.5% of our sales, which is why prices appear to be down so far. Yesterday was a ski day for me in Breckenridge. I thought I would share a few things that are peculiar to living here that came from the day. We just returned from our annual “pre back to school” retreat in Breckenridge. It was a great break from the heat, highs in the 70’s up there while it was almost 90 here in Colorado Springs.
