Fountain-Fort Carson D8

Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 is the southern most district in the area, covering most of the city of Fountain as well as the south portion of Fort Carson proper. This district is expected to grow with the return of troops to Fort Carson and the recovery of the local economy. Housing in D8 is very affordable, with the average sale price in 2009 of $170,662. Academic improvement has been a high priority for D8, and their 2009 Acountability Report gives some evidence of the successful results they are having.
