I was excited to see a recent article in the Denver Business Journal that highlighted Colorado Springs as the 9th most ideal city to raise a family out of 150 cities researched nation-wide! The study was done by a Washington D.C. financial analyst website, WalletHub, looking at 5 key metrics: affordability, health and safety, education and child care, family activities and fun, and the socioeconomic environment.
The article touched upon the benefits of residing in such an area, including child development and quality of life for all members of the family. Colorado Springs holds an advantage as well, by being a close commute to the amenities and employment opportunities in Denver (which ranked 42 overall).
If you or someone you know are thinking about relocating to this “ideal city,” I’d love to help with the process. There are some great homes for sale right now, including those in prime spots convenient for commuting as well as great neighborhoods with close parks and recreation. With over 22 years of full time experience in Colorado Springs (with my own family, now including grandkids!), I have the knowledge, experience and skill to put together a successful real estate transaction if you’re buying or selling.
