April sales were up 18.8% from last year, so we are off to a red hot start. The inventory of unsold homes is now under a 4 month supply of homes for sale.
Prices have been up on a year to year basis for the last 14 months in a row. In April, the median price (1/2 the homes sold for more) rose 11.6% from 2012, to $214,900, and the mean (average) was up 6.3%!
