In all scenarios, however, below are some keys to succeeding in the real estate market.

2. Don’t scrimp on ‘fix-ups’ for your home. The homes that shine, sell (assuming they are priced sharp!).
3. Price your house objectively. Your agent will help you with this, but it is important to be objective, and what you paid for your house 2 years ago is not necessarily what it will sell for right now. Also, just because things are moving now, does not mean you can overprice your home and expect it sell.
