Colorado Springs Halloween Weather – Trick, or Treat?

One of the things that we noticed in our first few years here in Colorado Springs was how reliable snow storms seemed to be for the week of Halloween, and usually Halloween itself. That will not be the case this year, as it looks like 60’s and 70’s and sunny this weekend. Earlier in the week it got very cold overnight, has been quite cool and windy, and the mountains got hammered with snow. Loveland and A Basin are now open for the ski season!

Here in Colorado Springs, it didn’t even rain. Our grand kids will be grateful, it means their trick or treat plans will be unimpaired by snow and cold.

The Colorado Springs real estate community appreciates the milder, drier pattern a bit too (or at least this Realtor does!) It is a lot more fun to show houses in the warm sunshine than in the snow, and with all the houses for sale in Colorado Springs, we have to show more houses than ever!
