Rising Unemployment In Colorado Springs is Good News?

This morning’s Gazette had the cheery news that Colorado Springs unemployment has continued to rise, and was up to 8.5% in February. The amazing part of the story to me, was the part that talked about this as a good thing, because it was partially the result of more people re-entering the work force after giving up on finding a job for a while. I’m not sure how many job seekers would call rising unemployment good news, but I’ll defer to the economists on this one. If they say its good, it must be 🙂

More crazy weather today, with a few inches of fresh snow overnight and a fierce wind this morning as the sun peaks out. It’s hard to believe they are forecasting 70 by Tuesday, but I’ll take it!
