Annual Fruitcake Toss
When: January 22, 2022
Time: 1 pm – 3 pm
Where: Manitou Springs Memorial Park
Cost: One non-perishable food item is suggested for attendance. All food will be donated to a Manitou Springs food bank.
This is a one-of-a-kind event, where enthusiasts traveled from all over to compete for trophies and bragging rights. It has been a community highlight for more than 22 years. The great fruitcake toss is the event of the winter season as the hapless dessert is launched into space with a variety of mechanical and pneumatic devices.
40th Annual Colorado Indian Market & Southwest Art Festival
When: January 14-16, 2022
Time: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Where: Colorado Springs Event Center
Cost: $15 for adults, Kids under 12 Free
The Colorado Indian Market presents an authentic celebration of Native American artwork & heritage. It is intermingled with colorful booths of juried artwork inspired by the Southwest & the Wild West. Stroll 150 booths of pottery, jewelry, paintings, fiber art, & photography. Plus watch award-winning performances by Native dancers & musicians from across the United States. After 39 years in Denver, the 40th Annual festival will take place at the Colorado Springs Event Center.
4th Annual iHeartRadio Whiskey Tasting
When: February 12, 2022
Time: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Where: Hotel Elegante
Cost: $65 for general admission, $130 for VIP, $5 for designated driver
iHeartRadio presents The Fourth Annual Colorado Whiskey Tasting Festival. Enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres, vendors and unlimited sampling of fine whiskeys from around the world and from right here in Colorado. General Admission is only sixty-five dollars. Fiddler on the Roof
When: February 15 & 16, 2022
Time: 7:30 pm
Where: Pikes Peak Center
Cost: $58 +
You’ll be there when the sun rises on this new production, with stunning movement and dance from acclaimed Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter. It is based on the original staging by Jerome Robbins. A wonderful cast and a lavish orchestra tell this heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives, and the timeless traditions that define faith and family.
