Woodmoor Park is a townhome community situated in the northern part of El Paso County, straddling the Palmer Divide near the town of Monument, CO and about 25 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs. Woodmoor lands include forests of ponderosa pines, grassy meadows, and hilly areas with a wide variety of vegetation. Elevations range from 6900 to 7400 feet above sea level. Sometimes this neighborhood is also known as Walters Commons.
The community is managed by Woodmoor Park HOA which covers facilities such as covenant enforcement, exterior maintenance, management, snow removal and trash removal. Few of the townhomes in this complex have a basement. This complex is ideally surrounded by several parks in the neighborhood and the views of the parks from the townhomes are a treat to the eyes. Kids in the area will attend Bear Creek Elementary, Lewis Palmer Middle and Lewis Palmer High School. The Country Club at Woodmoor, a beautiful course with fabulous views and great facilities is located just a short drive from Walters Commons Townhomes.
This neighborhood is in the Lewis-Palmer District 38 for schools, which rank pretty high in terms of test scores.
Also, this area is quite convenient for commuting both to Denver and Colorado Springs.
